Isn't that the truth. True story: A decade ago, I was the forklift mechanic for a factory of about 200 people that had about 30 forklifts. There were 10 people in our shop. I was driving a Dodge Ramcharger that had the Ram head on the front of the hood. It was a constant gag for somebody to turn the spring-loaded Ram's head 90° just as a juvenile prank. (The shop was full of pranksters, myself included) I was determined to catch the perp in the act, so one day I put a light coating of antiseize on the Ram's head, just thin enough so that you couldn't see it. Our time clock was about 100 yards away from the shop, so we had to drive our vehicles that distance, clock out, walk back to our vehicles, and then drive home. One night I drove up to the time clock, clocked out, and was walking back to my Ramcharger when I saw the Ram's head had been turned. I carefully looked at the other 9 guys walking toward the time clock, or I guess I should say I was looking at their HANDS. One guy had antiseize all over his hand and I just pointed to it and busted up laughing. He looked at his hand, now full of antiseize, and had a very confused look on his face until he realized that he had been BUSTED!

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
