Since i am getting older and gave up keeping spec.'s in my head i would have to go dig up the spec.'s out of the book to be sure and i would have to be there to listen to what she is doing and put the timing window on the pump to see what the advance is doing . Messing with a D 361 is NOT for the novice . and a major tune up done correctly is a big plus . Your valve set will not be the same as mine as the FEEL thing comes from many years and many valve sets and the valve set has and affect on performance . Rocker arms ware with age and some have a ware pattern that will affect the setting of the valve and give a false set , pump advance can be sticking , a governor ring could be starting to come apart , the pump head may have ware and not doing it's thing , you could have injectors not seating properly , nozzle tips that are wore out and not giving a good spray pattern . I have been around 806's since they first came out and ran many and worked on a lot of them and owned several and still own and run one . Having the tools and special tools and equipment to work on them is a HUGE plus .
