According to the Haynes "Ferguson Tractor Enthusiasts Manual"your tractor is probably a late 1953 model. It shows 310780 to 367998 as the serial numbers for British production in 1953. I would have assumed your model prefix would be TEA rather than TE. The Lucas starter should be easy to source. These tractors were exported by the thousand from England all over the Commonwealth block of countries but not to the USA as US production came from the Detroit plant where Continental engines with Delco electrical systems were used. Fawcett Tractor at St Marys Ontario probably has a dozen units on the lot right now.
