Fill in the blanks. 6 or 12 volt?? is it an early 8N with front mount distributor or the latter 8N with side mount distributor?? Next learn the simple trouble shooting for an engine. #1 does it have a good blue white spark that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more at the plug wires and if the late 8N at the center wire of the distributor?? #2 pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes. #3 when was the last time you checked the air cleaner and dumped the mud and water and fill it with fresh gas? #4 pull the air cleaner tube off the carb and hold your hand over he air intake and try to fire it up. You should both get a good suction and your hand should be covered with gas and it may even try to start
