Long story, but I became the owner of a Ford 861 Diesel with loader. Fair rear tires, cast iron "wedge" weights in rear wheels, different front tires (Not original size, account the loader). VERY hard to steer, I think the front spindals are corroded. Loader lift is plumbed into the 3-point system, pull the 3-pt lever up to lift the loader. Trip latch to dump the bucket. Eventually it will get a pump!! Clutch appears to be stuck. This is a two stage clutch, first half of pedal travel stop forwad motion, second half of travel stop the PTO. I don't think the engine is stuck, haven't had time to entirely check it out. Cost was $750 plus helping a friend clean up his father's estate. Just to get rid of "stuff," he threw in Sears electric chain saw, one of those devices that lifts a Ford tractor by the 3-pt. hitch, and an old box of antique tools(BADLY weathered/rusted). Tools included a couple of those brass/wood folding rulers. With a little care I think the tools can be saved. With some of the old tools I have, I'm going to start a display board of the tools. Ah, well!!! More projects!!!
