Testing different batches of antifreeze in the wife's deep freezer would work as long as didn't catch you doing it. If the tractor is just for putting around a strong thick mix of 50/50 probably won't overheat.Our JD runs that stength but air temps don't get above 85F here & it rairly gets works hard continiously. If used under heavy continious loads then a thinner mix would be in order. I just happened to recieve a stack of coolant info in the mail yesterday. If there is something applicable I'll send you a copy.
