Years ago we had a couple rental houses on a farm that we rent. For a while they were rented by single moms. I always pushed their snow in winter, did a few plumbing jobs, fixed a water heater or dryer, replaced a fuse or two, one time even got a snake out of the kitchen. My wife used to say, "One of your girlfriends called and needs ..." All these years later we still call them my girlfriends when we see them. One of them works at our local pizza place and when we are there she will sit with us a bit to tell us about her son (now grown) and grandkids. Kindness done for kindness sake is its own reward. And cookies are accepted.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
