My wife works at a region high school that has 10 or so area high school that send students to them.They have about 200 students in many programs from welding to nursing to wood working and many in between.When some graduate they are able to go into the work force making good money or on to college with some college credits. There is a national event where all states send people to compete and win medals for their schools.We have won gold,silver and bronze at this event which coming from the middle of Maine and going against much larger schools is a big deal for us.I just wish they had those programs when I was in school I might have been a better student!
