About 40-50 years ago misguided know it alls started telling women to surrender and submit if some maniac tried to rape them or abduct them and the result has been tens of thousands of women killed who may not have been had they fought back and screamed with all of their might. Plenty of evidence to show that women who fight back get away most of the time or the perpetrator runs off when the intended victim starts screaming, fighting and drawing attention. Much avoidable tragedy will result from teaching school kids to cower and hide, the shooters attend the same school so they know the hiding places, they will be shooting fish in a barrel, teaching the kids to rush the shooter enmasse and throw whatever is available at them would be much more effective and save more lives.
