Thanks for the video, I'll watch it at home later.
Been to Creed a few times, very history rich, (probably tourist inflated) history!
There's a cemetery there, you can find many of the people noted in the history and museum there. Lots of babies, born in the winter was not likely to survive. Diseases, probably flu, wiped out many in the same time frames.
One time we had ridden our dirt bikes into town, stopped at a cafe/saloon for lunch, probably about 2:00PM.
Not many people inside, but one table with 4 men, all extremely drunk, a couple with their heads down on the table, caught our attention. You can't do that in Texas!
There was a Budweiser truck in front of the place. In a few minutes we hear someone trying to move the truck, obviously didn't know how to drive it, dragging the trailer brakes, grinding the gears...
It was the town marshal. The truck had someone blocked in their parking place for the last couple hours.
The marshal came in, kicked the chairs of a couple of the drunks, tried to wake them up, finally got some response from one of them, told him he needs to get to "Getup, get that ##@#$# truck out of the street, it's blocking the road!!!"
Getting no more than a head roll and back down on the table, the marshel left mumbling.
Made us feel a little better about riding unregistered dirt bikes in town! LOL

The lady of the house who answered the door offered no answer, but said that she would talk to her husband and have him call me. I figured he was away at the time.
