As Steven posted, almost any two brush 6V generator will put out the 14.2V required to charge modern 12V batteries. Changing the regulator to 12V is required & charging can be obtained at low rpms by changing pulleys to rotate the gen faster. There are some pretty bright 12V halogen or kypron lamps than can be swapped into the old 6V lamp bases. A coating of sliver or white paint inside the fixture can brighten the lamp reflection if the glass reflector is broken or missing. Some antique shops that re-silver mirrors can make old reflectors look/work better than new.
