Picked up this old Radson "20E" moisture meter at an auction for a couple bucks. Figured it would give us a rough idea of the moisture of the corn. We don't do enough grain to justify even a cheap digital meter.
Near as I can tell from what little I've found online, you turn it on, set the big dial to "Calibrate" then use the little knob to center the needle in the gauge. Then you measure out a cup of corn using the balance on the back, and dump it in the hopper.
This causes the needle to move full to the right, so you use the big dial to center the needle again, and read the moisture percentage off the big dial.
That sound about right on how to use the thing? Closest I could find to an online tutorial was one from rusty6 (roosty6 on youtube).
