dcarp, The fat lady hasn't sang yet. Saw a U tube on the L3560. If I needed a loader, the L3560 HST is very impressive.
Both terramites have HST and I love them for loader work.
I'm questioning if I really want a complicated HST like Kubota offers. I grew up on a dairy farm, lots of seat time on tractors with a clutch and gears. No cruse on the Kubota 3560, that would be extra. Same with mirrors, extra.
I like setting engine speed and selecting the gear to travel at a fixed speed when mowing.
I have a 48 inch John deere GT275, HST. Only use it for trim mowing. I have to keep my foot on motion peddle. I really don't think I would like mowing the entire yard with foot pushing down on peddle. The HST on JD is necessary when I attach the 30 inch tiller.
The Kubota HST would be necessary for anyone wanting a tiller and a loader.
My broker has annunitized my investments so a monthly check will show up checking account to cover any payments, if I decide not to pay cash.
This is going to be a hard decision to make. New I will get a warranty. Used is cheaper, no warranty.
I have only two dealers in town, JD and Kubota. So that makes it a little easier. geo

I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
