Sv: I have one of those that never has been in water. I used them in pastures for years. I bought the double tank regulator that will switch tanks when the one is empty. Just like used on cook stoves. IF normal is daily highs in the 20s and nightly lows in the single digits then your looking at about a 100 LBS tank every 7-10 days. I have my own 100 lbs. tanks and fill them off one of my 1000 gallon tanks. A 100 lbs. tank holds right under 24 gallon. Getting them filled in town cost $60. I can fill them at home for around $27 or half price of town.
I would sell the one I have. I no longer need them for any of my current pastures. I would take $250 for mine but I have no idea of what freight would be.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
