No it wont compete with a ag tractor as far as ground engagement equipment HST eats up to much HP BUT for mowing and loader work it will out work most every 2WD ag tractor equal to its HP... It will do it with ease, its fast and most of all comfortable..
To compete with a ag tractor it needs more gear selections the problem with that is it slooows it down :( so slow it takes the fun out of it...

HST is a learning curve if the tractor starts to get in a bind you are use to giving it more throttle on HST lift up on the HST pedal and let the engine RPM catch up... That helps take the HST load off of it....
Don't forget to take it out of 4WD on the road :wink:

Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
