I'm not sure if there is a way to do this without a scan tool, but CKP relearn is needed after replacing a CKP sensor, ECM, engine or crankshaft etc. After following specific instructions there is a moment where you hold throttle to the floor until it reaches the fuel cut-off ( rev limiter) briefly that is, just hold it long enough to hit the limiter then close the throttle.
DTC P0315 will set if the CKP variation has not been learned. It doesn't affect the way the engine runs, due to design tolerances it is just synchronizing the sensors for it's own misfire diagnostics. If it needs to be done, you should see a ck eng light on with the dtc listed above stored.
