Had a '95 Dodge Caravan with the 3.0 L V6 and the overdrive automatic. I had to get the transmission rebuilt at about 80,000 miles. I got rid of the vehicle at a bit over 150,000, and the transmission was still OK. What burns me is that the maintenance schedule claims you *never* need to change the transmission fluid unless you are putting *extreme* use on the vehicle. This is just BS. The fact is that the warranty is timed to expire when the tranny is ready to blow.
