Okanagan, Re-post your troubles on the Ford board as Ultradog suggested. Ask for "Bern" who lives in Western Washington and helped me with my 5000 SOS. There are some simple diagnostics that can be done a hydraulic test gauge (ports are already machined in the transmission housing where your feet rest. That will give you some real data to work with. I can scan and email you pages from the manual if you need them. You'll see "Send email" in the lower right corner of this post and that will link to me.
