Southern MN here, this has been one of the most trying years of farming in my lifetime, late winter, cold wet wet wet wet summer, wet fall, wet now.
I finally got beans done a week ago, trying to finish up corn. My beans settled at 17.5% moisture and stayed there. Took the third hard frost before they dropped into the 13-15% area and I could go, then it snowed 2 days later and I had to combine beans in mud, snow, frozen ground, and all combinations.
The cold weather and wet crop and some coop mismanagement combined to make lines at my local coop over 2 hour wait all fall, so we couldnt haul but 1/3 the normal grain in a day, so harvest is going 3x as long just for that.
Spring was bad too, rain and mud, we would get 8 hour periods twice a week it was dry enough to do something, planted corn into June and beans the last 2 weeks of June.
What a long year.
Got a long day of corn left, and lots of tillage. Supposed to rain tonight, freeze tomorrow. See if I ever get to the finish line.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
