There has been a blind beneath this double tree for 40 years that I know of. I have been hunting it for 35 years and added the roof 25 years ago. It is on state land and is technically illegal because of the roof material and the fact that it stays up year round. there are 5 other similar blinds within a 1/2 mile radius of me that I know of (one actually has a wood stove in it) and they are all 20+ years of age. Etiquette is pretty good and only twice have I had someone very close to me. Once in my blind (I sat on a bucket outside the blind until he left) and once in a climber 50 yards behind me (he packed up at the end of his morning hunt). I have a policy of not arguing with someone carrying a high powered rifle. Most people don't want to hunt close to someone else. I usually go up sometime in Oct. to brush out mine and my cousins blind.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
