Time it past for you learning trouble shooting. One should always trouble shoot then parts never the other way around. #1 make sure you have good blue/white spark from the center wire of the distributor cap and all 4 plugs that jump a 1/4 inch gap or more #2 pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes and yes catch the gas to look for water/dirt etc. #3 when was the last time you serviced the air cleaner and dumped the mud and water out and fill with fresh oil??
5 minutes say likely to be fuel flow problem but can be other things as well. So start ti up and then when it dies do the trouble shooting as fast as you can and do spark first for safety reason so you do not catch it on fire
