MY GRANDFATHER HAD A FERGUSON 30 THAT WAS LOCKED UP. WE TOOK THE HEAD OFF AND DISCOVERED IT HAD CRACKS ACROSS THE BORES. OUR HIRED HAND FIXED THESE CRACKS WITH JB WELD AND IT HAS BEEN RUNNING LIKE A CHAMP EVER SINCE. I AM NOT SURE IF HE FILED OUT THE CRACKS ANY OR NOT, BUT WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH IT.
