Everyone wants electric but nobody wants a power plant or solar farm. Is solar perfect? No. But we have to start somewhere. If Ford had not made the model T would modern cars be where they are today? There is a big solar farm going in right now in my area, about 2000 acres. It is a 25 year lease and will owned by two electric companies. In year 15 they are required by the state to set aside money for the estimated cost of removal and restoring the land to what it was before project. The payments are three times what land rent is in the area and go up 2% a year or what ever inflation is. Is there lots of taxpayer money? Yes. But do not tear up the companies taking it tear up the people who made it available. Tom
