I can't say about crank in last but it's really tight in there. You'll nick up your hands pretty good. One thing to remember it the upper connecting rod bolts go in the rod reversed, nut toward the piston. It's to clear the camshaft. And watch your timing marks on the crank/cam/governor gears. I&T manual will keep you on the straight and narrow.
