Good evening all,
After 5 years of picking up valuable information and tips off from this forum, I have decided to join and introduce myself.
I picked up a 1948 Ford 8n from my Great Uncle several years ago, two seized cylinders, burnt vales, electrical demolished by mice, ect. ect. A three year restoration process regulated by time and $$ and I finally have it parade worthy, and it also does a great job stacking up windrows in the hay field!
Anyways, I wanted to join to thank you all for your knowledge and willingness to share on this open forum. I couldn't have restored the 8n without the help!
Now I have picked up my grandfather's MF 65 and placed my first order of parts to get her back up and running. Hope to have her in the hay field along with the 8n by summer!
I will likely be picking your brains on any trouble shooting I come across with the Massey, so I thank you all in advance!
A couple pictures of the restoration of the 8N attached.

Then, as the big lugged circle of rubber slipped off the last wheel stud it became apparent that there was more there than just an empty tire. Four hundred pounds of rim, tire, and fluid dropped to the ground like a sack of wet cement. Fortunately the installer jumped out of the wa
