Not true! Had THREE different inspectors out to look at a panel/wiring in a house we used to live in. All Three failed it for different reasons - none of which were wrong - and they all corrected the last inspector. Finally called the State, and THEY sent an inspector down. Everything passed. Then, 6 months later, the county comes calling to inspect because the state inspector who passed it had retired, so they figured he just zipped through his last inspections (unwarranted). Everything was buttoned up by then, so not much to see. To top it all of - the original work was done by a licensed electrician who used to be the inspector for the county! Petty infighting at it's best (worst). Had one inspector come out to see if I had put in a ground rod. Got a notice in the mail that stated "FAILED: NO GROUND ROD PRESENT". Trouble was - her footprints were in the ground, straddling the rod! Stupid AND blind.... I could go on.... Electrical inspectors are the worst - even if it is PERFECT to code, they find something wrong to satisfy their own whims. Very few are worth the paper their certification is written on. Sorry, you might be different, but that's been my experience...

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
