Gates and fences is all you are allowed to do in canada --- and it isnt just some thing to look good as it actually has to stop a vehicle or person. No trespassing sign just gives them some thing to vandalize -- to punish you for having the nerve to object to them coming in there. No way to charge them as you have to prove there "intent" in cort-- any lame excuse on there behalf will get it thrown out -- well unless it is a really big todo with police getting shot etc then they pull out all the stops . You pretty much have to live with it and then pay huge taxes on the land and or pay for the land itself. If it is a regular occurrence in a specific spot then hide a live notification (cell link) game camera -- then at least you have some thing to see what or if you lucky who is doing it . They know who you are -- any municipal map will show that but here even if you give the cops the licence number it is a big secret -- they wont tell you the name or address. If you have a clean driving record and can afford a few stikes then ram there vehicle and then being an accident you will (I think ) will get there info. It will be there word against yours and if you have a clean driving record the cops will lean in your favor.
