Kind of depends on what you call new. Back in the late 60s to mid 70s Ford donated a bunch of tractors to various high schools and votechs around the country. Most of them got destroyed by many inexperienced hands. But a few did not. They are as pristine as the day they were built. Ive owned half a dozen of these. They came as shown below. So my question is: does the 1976 3600 that I bought 8 years ago count as a 44 year old tractor or an 8 year old tractor? It WAS brand new when I bought it but has probably 500 hours on it now.
