Jim, I absolutely agree.
Pushing/piling snow is GREAT if you have enough room towards the back of the property and a short winter.
But, for those of us who (stupidly) live where winter is LONG and REAL, having a good snowblower is a better choice than any type of "snowplow", IMHO.
When you use a snowblower on a good windy day you make NO piles of snow that only serve as a windbreak/snowfence to hold MORE snow on your property the next time it snows and blows, IMHO.
On the other hand, my bigshot neighbor towards the entrance to the cul-de-sac with a $$$ "plow" on a "side by side quad" equipped with tracks makes 15' high piles of snow that stop drifting snow, blocking us neighbors in.
