I highly recommend AYP machines. American Yard Products. They make Husqvarna, the large Sears machines and several others. Both of mine have cast fronts and I have ball bearings in my front wheels. Nice tuff machines. Go on Ebay. There are a lot of dealers who give some REALLY good deals on these machines. Tennessee, north Carolina, etc. Some even include shipping. Well worth looking. One hint...you want the machines with the bigger 24 or 26 x10.5x12 rear wheels. These will have the heavy duty rear ends. Also you want the 26hp twin V Briggs engines. If you can go talk to a dealer. There are a fleet of options on these machines. Personally I do NOT like the Kohler engines. Simplicity is super duper but you are talking very big bucks. More of a status symbol.
