I’ve been helped and still am as well, there’s great folks on here but none of us are perfect or even close to it. We’re lucky to have this site,we don’t farm for a living anymore and my topics aren’t really crop or equipment related as they used to be. There’s some electricians on here offering encouragement in my studies to move into that field and I appreciate that very much. I’m worried as he!! about if or where I might find employment when I finish school in the spring but people in the know say there’s plenty of work for those worthy so hopefully I can prove myself just as that. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
