I have no interest in going back to the days of carburetor. I can remember as a kid not having cars start because it is flooded especially during winter. Currently running an '07 Toyota Rav 4 here with 326000 km (202000 miles) Only significant repair is the water pump replacement. Still starts good in the cold but is now burning some oil. I expect to get a few more years out of it yet. You simply did not do that in the good old days. This car is better at that mileage than my dad's new Chryslers in the 70's and 80's. Some of the newest equipment is too tech heavy, I will agree, so it is good that my farm can't afford any of it so my machinery dates to the 80's and 90's. Has some good tech in them but not things we don't need like DEF.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
