It just depends on where you're located. Around here, the only mowers that bring over $200 are NH 451's. If it was in good shape, had an extra knife, and hadn't been welded on, I'd open with $75 and go up to $250 if I really, really wanted it. I bought a nearly new IH 1300 a few years ago for $300, and it came with 4 new knives and a big box of sections and other parts. Just go with what your gut tells you, and don't bid over your self-imposed limit.
