I bought an alternator and included bracket to convert my M to 12 volt and electronic ignition. I bought the electronic conversion kit from this sight even though it was a little more expensive than other places. The alternator for my tractor YT did not have. I ordered from DB Electrical. The bracket was the problem. It should have been a quick and fast installation. The holes were off where the bracket bolted to the head. I filled the holes in and re drilled to fit. The U shaped piece welded to the bracket that holds the alternator was put on crooked and the holes were off. I re-manufactured that part of the bracket and re welded. The part of the bracket that holds the adjustment arm was crooked. I ground it off and re welded. It took me three of four hours of piddling to get the whole bracket correct. This is the worst case of almost right I have ever seen. I would caution against ordering from DB Electrical, but lots of internet sites sell the same alternator and bracket. Ellis
