Like they said in the previous post check the air filter and air ducting to the engine. Look for leaks. If you have a turbo on it look for leaking seals on the turbo (oil coming from the joint in the middle) if you do preferably don't run it till they are fixed. Could be a real costly mistake if it should happen to run on the oil. Othe wise if those all check out good might be just that worn out or timing could be that far out.
