I bought a 55 hp, (Universal Romanian) 560 Long new in '78 as my main tractor. Dealer told me that if I were to go over it weekly and tighten up any loose bolts it would give me good service; he wasn't lying. Fuel economy was superb, burned less than half what the neighbor's JD did. Comfortable, maneuverable, quiet and grief free. Wish now I hadn't sold it but after the cows went I didn't really have a use for it. had 10,000 hours on the clock, no smoke, started right up winter or summer and I never did a single repair to it, changed fluids and filters regularly and put ne tires on it at one point; best tractor I ever owned for the money.
