You can get the same thing for about 2 cents- just cut a piece of copper tubing about an inch long and stick in the inlet. Gets the inlet up off the bottom of the tank, and will keep most sediment out. What you do get settles in the sediment bulb. If you're still getting enough to be a problem, its time to clean and seal your tank.
