Leonard: Later model Fordson F tractors did have a transmission brake of sorts on the flywheel-clutch assembly but the Model F never did have wheel brakes and brake pedal as later tractors did. You just have to be a bit careful when driving down hill, uphill by keeping it in 1st gear and idling down and approaching obstacles slowly. They stop well in soft ground, but can take quite a bit of space to stop on hard driveways. Henry saved everywhere he could to produce an affordable, basic gasoline power unit for agriculture and industry.
