My niece was diagnosed with it eight years after she started having problems. She was in her 20's. I made a trip back to Fargo where she lived not long after she was diagnosed and she was only eating potatoes. She said she could not have gluten, fruitose, or sucrose. When I got home i went into a health food store and told them to give me any foods they had that didn't have any of those items in it. Got a whole box of food and shipped it to her. She was really thrilled! She got supermarkets in Fargo to start stocking those foods. She even wrote a book on Celiac.
