You know what... lots of folks are saying cherry juice. Now it rang a bell. My Grandmother would visit durring the summer and take a qt. Masson jar into the fence row. Me and my sister would help her fill that bottle with choke cherries. She would take it home with her and now I might know what she was doing. AHAA!! Folk medicine or a preventive elixir. Maybe I should gather a jar this summer. When they are ripe I take a few and chew on them. 😺
