It is a kidney stone gout med. Depending on the level you may only need to take the med temporary or couple times a month.I Rarely have attacks now. I seem to get it if I have tomato juice. Which was hard to give up as I love pasta and tomato juice sometimes with cut up ring bologna or good hotdog.
