Bought my first new truck in 1980- basic Ford with manual. It ran good for many years. A couple of used trucks since then. Bought my last truck a week ago - a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 4 door with a small Duramax. Getting over 30 MPG on the highway a little less around town. Drives like a dream compared to that old Ford. GMC is offering big discounts for another week or so. Got close to 25% in company and dealership discounts, another nearly 25% for the trade. Had to go from MN to Wisconsin to find the Duramax though. Sales tax on the balance and lots of $ into license and assorted little fees. One of the kids or grandkids will get a nice truck someday, sooner or later. Will enjoy it while i can and hope David , Ray and others get good use from theirs
