I have essentially the same radio in my 9500 combine as my 7800 Deere chore tractor. They are Delco am/fm radios. The one in the tractor is finally dying a slow and painful death. They both remove with the two pronged tool on each side, but I don’t have the tool for either machine. I may have gotten it with the combine but that was back in 1995, so I haven’t any idea where it would be.
Does anyone know what that tool looks like? For other radios I have removed it was just basically to slide sprung clips in on either side so it could slide out. I didn’t want to start jamming small screwdrivers in there if I should be going and hunting up one of those tools before I wreck something and have to hum to myself for hours a day. I don’t hum well.
