Help Pick a tractor PLEASE!!!

i have just got 40 acres of land and a old farm place is on it i am fixing the place now and living in it but i need a tractor to mow 5 acres of tall grass do some bailing and have a loader to scoop manure and snow plus be able to do a few acres of farming a guy down the road has a tractor it is a John deere 50 with a wide front and he says it has live power he says he has a sickle mower to go with it and a old disk and plow all for $2,750 i will pay that price but do you think it will handle the job and were can i get a loader thanks for any help you guys can give me
