Go buy anything used and see the warranty they try to sell you with them. I had a girl friend one time, thought I should buy a warranty with a truck. I asked about what it covered for her information. About all that was covered was the block and transmission case. Nothing basically was covered in it. After they read it to her she stopped about warranties on things. When I bought my last and first new truck the dealer asked me if I wanted an extended warranty. I said if the things they covered lasted more than the year or milage it would probably be fine for the time of use. The things not covered was longer than the covered. Since I bought the 18 speed trans They would only do the year not the extended for the five years. Some things like wheel seals were for longer than the year also.
