I use to never update my snap-on scanners I would keep them 3 years and at the least get what i would have spent on up dates for it on trade in.
I fell off the wagon and have kept my Verus Pro updated since day one... The bad after I had owned it 3 years when I went to trade it in it I lost the updated money : ( I would have got the same for it if I had not updated it I thru the update money out the window...
I like it but its a money pit... Good scanners can be brought for a lot less... If anyone has one you can clone the hard drive and upgrade it so its lighting fast...
