Hi All, i have recently purchased a Massey Ferguson 175 Tractor 1970 Model with a A4/248 motor and Multi Power. I have been trying to find out where the Hydrolic oil filter in the transmission sits. I have been told that sitting on the seat its next to the left side cover which has hydrolic lines in it and on the other side cover has a handle and ive been told its next to that also. Today i was told its on the pump at the back of the gear box above the pump. Ive also been told that i have to remove the seat and top cover to get to it.
Can anyone please give me the correct advice as to its whereabouts. I have to change it as i have water in the hydrolic oil and FEL lines. any guidence would be much appreciated. Ken
