I visited a few times, not much activity. I do know Howard is a good man to deal with. I needed a hydraulic pump for an IH 504. He said he had one, but didn't know if it was any good. He suggested I send him $50, and he would send the pump. If it turned out OK, I was to send another $100; if it was no good, let him know and he'd reimburse my $50. He sent it, it was good, I sent him 100 bucks, and that, as they say, was that.
Funny part was that I ended up not needing it. What I had thought was the fill level plug on the side of the housing was too low, and kept the pump from getting a full supply of oil. It was a 1/2" pipe plug with a 1/4" pipe plug drilled into it, so it sure seemed like a fill level plug. I ended up brazing a piece of welding rod to the bottom of the filler plug and marking where the level should be. No more problems. Still don't know how you were supposed to check the level.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
