I’m from northeast Arkansas and my cousin and I found several arrowheads and quite a lot of shards of pottery on the sand hill on the 40 where Mom and Dad lived when I was born. Later in life, my wife found some tiny (⅝”) long arrowheads that we thought were “bird points”. Family stories were that the sand hill had been the site of an Indian village in the past. My Ag teacher in high school had a sizable collection. Not uncommon in NE Arkansas and SE Missouri.
