This may not be best section but I will try here. Helping girlfriend clean out her late husbands things in garage, he died 14 years ago and was invaled for a few years before. Finaly found the key to get in a locked box in garage. Now the question is what to do with a lot of ammo that is at least 18+ years old. This is in Ohio. 2 boxes+ 12 guage shot gun shels; 2 20 guage shels; 2 boxes+ 22 rifel shels; 1 box of 30-30 shels, also 20 empty shels of the 30-30. What is best and legal way to get rid of them? I don't know much about guns. One box of the 12 guage has price tag on of $ 4.17 and other box $ 2.68. If allowed to even sell it what should asking price be? Have no idea what new ammo is priced at. What do we do?
